Learning Risk and Crisis Management is learning what it is to be “safe and have peace of mind”. With the advanced development of modern society, and if the various aspects of society are function properly there is no sense of need to take measures for future uncertainties. However when one aspect fails the ripple effect is widely felt. The Risk and Crises Management Section aims to educate individuals who are able to holistically address the issues and limit damage.
The Emergency Life Saving Section aims to educate specialists that recognize the remarkable development in medicine and able transport patients to medical facilities quickly and safely while accurately and calmly making decisions as they work in unison with physicians.
We look forward to meeting the needs of modern society through the Department of Risk and Crisis Management as we educate today’s youth.

VOICE OF STUDENT FROM ABROAD
Risk and Crisis Management 4nd year
Last year I came from China and am currently a 2nd year Risk and Crises Management student. When I first arrived in Choshi I was struck by the beautiful ocean view. The university is on the ocean and is the perfect environment for studying. In this environment I am learning so many things that I never knew regarding Risk and Crises Management. The Professors always leave me with a sense of fulfillment with the new things I have learned. I am so grateful to them, and I strive to become the kind of student that the university can be proud of.

We owe much of our present day prosperity to the advancement of science and globalization. However with this complicated society previously unimaginable dangers or risk now threaten our lifestyles.
In the Risk Management Section student gain the skills and knowledge needed to secure a safe and peaceful life.
Enabling individuals to reduce the risks of accidents, disasters, information breaches, or unlawful acts from effecting their nation, municipality, industry or community, or limiting the damage when incidents do occur by managing risk.

Crisis-Management is necessary in various fields of modern society. Various national and local authorities as well as private sector institutions that actively pursue risk and crises management will be in ever increasing need.
- Civil Servants of national and local government (fire fighting, police, staff of municipality, self-defense force officials, and immigration etc.)
- Private company manufacturing, protection/security industry, finance, insurance, and medical treatment and welfare industry, etc.)
- Graduate school
- Clinical psychologist (The completion of the graduate school master's course is necessary. )

Emergency Life Saving Technology Section
We aim to cultivate individuals to be local public servants as Emergency Medical Technicians by furnishing them with the fundamental knowledge and skills of Risk Management to enable them to contribute to regional society, through emergency medical knowledge, skills and stamina.

Career Opportunities
The career opportunities as well as the quality Emergency Medical Technicians at local municipal Fire and Disaster Departments have substantially increased. Occupations other than Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians have also begun to require the live saving expertise. Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedic are expected to not only be employed at Fire Departments and other ambulance services but various emerging fields.
