Making Foreign Students feel at home
With a philosophy of nurturing individuals to become active members of the international community Chiba Institute of Science conducts various international exchanges to allow students to meet their potential. Currently, we have agreements with 45 institutions in which we promote exchanges in 12 countries such as The United States, Brazil, Canada, China, Korea, Taiwan, Britain, and Austria. Through such programs consisting of student, staff and faculty exchanges, delegations, international symposiums, joint research and the acceptance of foreign degree seeing students we broaden international understanding and enable our students to meet the future with an advantage.
With the goal that foreign students will graduate with a sense of pride and satisfaction at attending the Chiba Institute of Science we established an environment that is both “at home” and conductive to high academic achievement.
At the forefront of this effort, and coordinating all the universities International activities, is the International Affairs Office with native speakers of Japanese, English Chinese and Korean.
