Faculty Introduction

Department of Pharmacy
We train students to be professionals in the most current advanced medical knowledge and techniques as well as foster an understanding and ability to empathetically communicate with and acknowledge the the pain and suffering of individual patients. One on one academic support is provided for the national licensure examination.

Department of Risk and Crisis Management
Benefiting society by maintaining a “Safe and Secure Lifestyle” through learning the necessary knowledge and skills from various actual cases of proper management of crises such as natural disasters and financial catastrophes.
Department of Health and Medical Sciences
Promoting individuals health by training individuals who are able to maintain a safe health care setting and quickly respond in the event of a medical crises educating “Medical Technologist", "Clinical Engineers” and “Emergency Medical Technicians” to be able to rapidly tackle real world situations.
Department of Risk and Crisis Management for Aviation Technology
Using technology to save people, by educating individuals with a combination of Risk & Crises Management comprehension and Engineering knowledge to developed equipment able to assist people as well as train individuals to operate rescue and relief aircraft in the event of disasters.

Department of Nursing
With links to Pharmacy and Risk and Crisis Management we aim to educate professionals that have not only deep understanding of nursing but also a strong character with broad perspectives. While fostering a core ability of logical thinking, communication and collaboration we further educate nurses to have a high sense of risk and crises management through lectures on risk management theory as well as nursing in disasters, infectious diseases and pandemics.

The Chiba Institute of Science Intensive Japanese Language Program was established in April of 2010 for those who wish to enroll in the Chiba Institute of Science or other Japanese universities. In the Intensive Japanese Language Program we aim to educate students not only to become familiar with the Japanese culture but obtain a Japanese language ability to allow them to follow and understand university lectures.
